Blastomussa Wellsi (Blasto)

This incredible beauty is a Australian LPS coral with a combination of orange/red and blue. A hardy coral addtion for an established reef tank. It does best in low flow areas with moderate lighting. Generally considered a peaceful coral and does well placed near other peaceful coral. Most of the Blasto’s nutritional requirements are met through photosynthesis via symbiotic algae zooxanthellae hosting in the coral. But will benefit from additional feeding of microplatnkton and/or foods designed for filter feeders.

Blastomussa Polyp is approx. 3/4" insize. The disk it is on is approx.  2" in diameter.
