Green Star Polyps with Neon Green Centers, (GSP) are a great beginner coral. The waving/flowing polyps add color and movement to your aquarium. GSP is considered a peaceful tank mate but care should be taken in placement of your new specimen. Due to the high growth rate and the spreading over everything that GSP is known for. It can spread over sand, live rock, and glass. GSP can be a gauge of water quality, and will react to poor water quality by not opening. Also when first placed in your aquarium after shipping it typically takes several days for GSP to open up. I have tried to capture the true color of this coral, but have failed miserably. It has yellowish brown polyps and the center is vibrant neon green.
