Purple Mushroom Coral also known as mushroom anemones or corallimorphs are a very hardy coral. A great coral for a beginner hobbyist and/or a newly established system. Typically Mushrooms prefer indirect light or shade. So a power compact light would be sufficient for a mushroom to thrive. They also do well under low water flow. Mushrooms will benefit from feedings of micro-plankton and small meaty foods. Mushrooms under the right conditions will multiply and spread over the rock it is placed on. Once placed in aquarium mushrooms can take 3-4 days to open fully open.
