SPS-MONTIPORA-PURPLE HAZE

Aquacultured Purple Haze is a fast growing species of encrusting montipora. It has a light blue skin along the edges with purple polyps. It will grow well in a SPS or mixed reef aqaurium, and will grow over the rock it is placed on. Requires moderate to high current and high light, typically from Metal halides or T-5’s. Requires proper and consistant levels of calcium, magnesium, and alkalinity. Purple Haze would also benefit from feeding of phytoplankton, rotifers, and oyster eggs.
